Secondary: Learning to learn and learning to decide
Secondary education is a key stage in the personal growth process of our students. During these years, they consolidate their identity, gain autonomy and assume new responsibilities on their journey to maturity.
At this stage, students strengthen and expand their knowledge through a broad and balanced curriculum, which provides them with a solid academic foundation for their future. At Engage International School, They not only acquire knowledge but also learn to apply it in a practical and meaningful way, developing critical thinking that prepares them for future challenges.
This stage develops from the ages of 12 to 16 and includes 4 academic years and two
educational cycles:
First cycle of ESO
(1st, 2nd and 3rd of ESO)
Second cycle
(4th year of ESO)

At this stage, skills such as time management, autonomous learning, critical thinking and foresight become essential for our students to lead their own path, developing their talent and personality.
In addition, they continue to strengthen their linguistic fluency in English, French and Spanish. Beyond English lessons, they use this language to explore literature, improve their writing skills and boost their research and communication skills.
At Engage International School, we help our students apply the knowledge acquired throughout their schooling in a variety of real-world contexts and situations. As they progress through their education,Fundamental concepts are explored in greater depth and with increasing complexity.

Our continuous evaluation system focuses on student autonomy, valuing their ability to organize their time and manage their own learning process. In addition, we take into account key aspects such as productivity, level of commitment and reflection, encouraging a responsible and proactive attitude towards learning.
